The eve of back to reality...
For this YoP sunday post, I just want to reflect on how productive I had been over the last 2 weeks. Many F.O.s... gift knitting finished, a project or two for myself, etc. I had some great time to sit and knit at my LYS, something I haven't done in at lest two months. I loved every second of it. The inspiration there is amazing.
I am back to work tomorrow after a very restful and well deserved 2 weeks break. I am very happy with where I am on my list for the Year of projects too! I will look at it again in the next few weeks and see if there are any revisions that need to be made...
New year and a fresh attitude ;)

Its nice to have the fresh feeling at the start of a new year!!
ReplyDeleteI love a new year it's all about changing things about and having a chance to readdress things, in my book. I got such a lot of things crocheted in the run up to Christmas, but it would be impossible to maintain that kind of chaos, so I'm quite looking forward to being a little more laid back, and enjoying the process again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, positive post. Congrats on your productive 2 weeks. I must agree that its very inspiring to get together with other knitters/crocheters regularly and I'm looking forward to our CWA craft group resuming next week.
ReplyDeleteKnitting with others is always inspiring for me. There are a group of us at work who stay late on Tuesday nights and knit until about 8:00 PM. It is a highlight of my work week. I hope your return tomorrow goes well and isn't too much of a shock to your system. :)

I love being with other knitters. It does help keep the creativity going. That's one of the things I like so much about knitting, it can be lovely and social or a great way to unwind on your own.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week back. I'm in the same boat.
It's nice to have a break, but it's nice to get back to work and back to a routine, isn't it? You have been very productive from what I've seen on your blog. Feels great, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI really like how you reflected over "how productive" you've been rather that what you haven't gotten done. I need to remember to do that.
ReplyDeleteHau 'oli makahiki hou to you.
